Louisiana Tech: Ruston, LA
Louisiana Tech University, nestled in the heart of Ruston, LA, provides a wonderful place for students to grow in their walk with the Lord. Louisiana Tech will quickly become a group favorite, from the cozy atmosphere of the Howard Auditorium to the fantastic dining options (including a Chick-fil-A!). Recently, LA Tech opened a state-of-the-art recreation facility with a rock wall, billiards, basketball courts, and an indoor and outdoor pool. Needless to say, the Lambright Sports and Wellness Center will be the place to be each afternoon. With a Starbucks just down the road, all of your camp necessities can be met at Louisiana Tech.
The Speaker
Danny Rangel
Danny Rangel was invited to church during his Junior year of high school by a friend. It was then that he heard the Gospel and his life forever changed because of Jesus. He felt the call to ministry at 18 years old, and has been practicing ministry full-time since 2011.
God has allowed Danny to be involved in student ministry for 7 years, church planting in New York City for 2 years, and now serving full-time at a local church in South Texas as the Young Adults & Online Pastor.
Danny loves spending time with his wife, Summer, and his son Jayden. Like every great Christian, he loves coffee! Because he came to know Jesus in high school, he is passionate about preaching the Gospel to this generation of students!
The Band
Edenfield
Edenfield was born out of a love for God and a passion for playing music. Their ability to connect with students on and off stage truly sets them apart. Their love for God and music is most evident in the energy they bring on stage. The genuine worship they practice is contagious for students and leaders. Their band includes people who lead weekly at their local churches, which is simply more evidence of their passion for God’s people.
